The Svensson Building Expansion
This 27,000 expansion of the existing industrial facility included site improvements such as vehicular access, loading and parking access, and compliance to the stormwater requirements. Along with stormwater and utility challenges, we were able to identify solutions in the initial phase of design. Issues with the public water line for fire suppression required us to coordinate with the adjacent property owner to the rear of the site, Costco. An existing looped system originally was present on the site that required connection to their system. This led to immense coordination with a large corporate entity to secure easements, which was challenging and impactful to the overall schedule and construction. In addition the project required considerable coordination with the project’s stormwater management.
