Located within the beautiful Charlotte area neighborhood of the Palisades, the school embarked on its first phase of expansion with a new 12,000 multi-purpose gymnasium and auditorium. Other aspects of the project included master planning and phasing studies, as well as coordination with community developer regarding an on-site master erosion control basin to be converted to a detention basin. Other challenges included, poor unsuitable soils, limited parking opportunities, and stacking impacts to adjacent neighborhood streets during peak hours.  

 

Bloc Design provided both landscape architecture and civil engineering services for the project which included site planning, schematic design and construction documents, permitting, and construction administration.
