I-85 North Bridge Renderings and Animations

Bloc Design provided design and rendering services for the proposed bridge that will provide a vehicular and pedestrian connection over I-85 between J.W. Clay Boulevard and Research Drive.  HDR Engineering, Inc. had previously developed several hand-sketched concepts that were reviewed by City of Charlotte staff.  Four of those concepts were further refined and modeled by Bloc Design using Sketchup and Lumion, in both day and night settings, and presented to City staff for final approval.  A photorealistic three dimensional fly-over and drive-thru animation of the project, which included the public street improvements and bridge concepts, were presented during a Neighborhood meeting.
