Considered one of Charlotte’s first and oldest neighborhood park, Independence Park located at 7th Street and Hawthorne Avenue is a 19 acre park that is bisected by Hawthorne Avenue. The scope included thorough analysis of the existing park infrastructure and site elements, including two aged buildings. Bloc Design is providing support to Agency Landscape and Planning as the civil engineer. Construction is still in progress.
