Located in the South Park area across from the Phillips Place mixed use development, the Atrium Health SouthPark Freestanding Emergency Department opened in Summer of 2014. As an expansion of the overall Atrium Health SouthPark development, the 30,000 square foot facility provides a free-standing community emergency department, as well as an expansion to the existing multilevel parking deck. Other amenities include an outdoor seating area with lush landscaping. Bloc Design provided civil engineering and landscape architecture services for the project.
